The Story of Hungarian Jump Ropes

The founder Porter Ballard bought his first beaded rope from the Hungarians in 2018. He has competed and performed around the world with this rope ever since. The light weight and control of the beads allowed him to invent many new tricks, promoting creativity in the sport.
In 2020 he was called to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hungary. For the next 2 years he fell in love with the Hungarian people while sharing his faith in Jesus Christ with them. While in Hungary, he made meaningful connections with many of the Hungarian jump ropers, including those who helped in the engineering of the Hungarian bead.
Upon returning home, his desire to keep close ties to Hungary, and grow the sport of jump rope, he founded the company Hungarian Jump Ropes.

Thoughts on Hungarian Jump Ropes
Hungarian ropes are the best beaded ropes to jump rope with. They are light like a licorice rope, but still keep good shape just as a beaded rope would do. This makes all tricks of any level much easier to complete!

A gyöngyöknek tökéletes súlyúk van a többszörös áthajtásokhoz és a feltekerésekhez is. A hosszabb nyél miatt könnyebb elkapni és irányítani a kötelet.

These ropes are light enough to do awesome multiples and they have a little bit of weight to keep your manipulation looking good. I love them!

These ropes are the best in the game! As a competitive jump roper for nearly 10 years, no other freestyle rope comes close in comparison. The weight, control, and colors of these ropes set them far ahead of the rest. I’ll be using Hungarian Jump Ropes for years to come!
